Job Summary:

A Patient Service Representative is the first point of contact between patients and our clinics and physicians. This role requires excellent customer service, communication, and patient assistance skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage physician schedules
  • Answer phone calls, screen calls, and take messages from patients
  • Document patient information and work with the care team to acquire additional documentation
  • Verify insurance and ensure registration and payer information is correct and current
  • Obtain prior authorizations and assist patients with scheduling follow-up testing
  • Prepare correspondence to physicians and patients
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong data entry skills and ability to work with computer applications
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with patients, peers, and physicians
  • Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and with co-workers in a team
