Position Overview: Our Westfield Family Medicine practice is looking for a skilled Office Assistant to manage and execute all administrative tasks within the office. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing essential administrative support to physicians and healthcare providers.
- Welcoming patients and ensuring their information is current, including demographic and insurance details.
- Handling patient check-out processes, including collecting co-pays and encounter forms.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments and accurately inputting outpatient orders into the Medical Center's Order Entry System.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a High School diploma, with a preference for those with experience in working with third-party payers and familiarity with ICD-10 and HCPC coding. A minimum of two years of experience in a medical office or similar setting is preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is also preferred.
