Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and developing strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Asia market
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients
- Set and track sales targets, activity metrics, and other necessary KPIs to drive performance
- Understand the Asia market and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and needs
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead a team and create a culture of sales excellence
- Manage customer risk and credit applications
Requirements
- Must speak, write, and read in English
- Bilingual or Asian speaking a plus but not required
- Minimum requirement High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills
- Outgoing and forward-thinking mindset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Minimum of 1-2 years of sales global forwarding experience
