Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at SMS. As an Outside Sales Professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small to medium-sized business owners and presidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for daily sales appointments with business owners and presidents to discuss marketing and securing Business Analysts Survey Agreements.
  • Direct 2-3 sales appointments daily, utilizing your expertise to develop relationships and uncover business needs.
  • Communicate with Business Coordinators to share feedback from appointments and new business lead opportunities.
  • Review daily successes and challenges with your Sales Manager, seeking support as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience or three years of face-to-face direct sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships, particularly with business owners and executives.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to uncover business pain points.
  • Ability to begin work immediately.
