The Team

The Auto Retail Marketing team is a dynamic and growing team in charge of expanding Upstart's automotive retail platform to thousands of automotive dealerships across the United States. We are excited to transform the car buying experience and make credit more affordable.

Job Summary

We're seeking a highly analytical Senior Demand Generation Marketing Lead to define and execute auto retail campaigns across various channels and play a pivotal role in leading the growth of Auto Retail by creating, optimizing, and managing marketing campaigns that attract new qualified leads and convert them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build inbound lead generation programs using multiple channels including organic, paid search, paid social, display, email, direct mail, and events
  • Grow new leads by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content, including offers
  • Be a close partner to the SDR team to ensure quality lead delivery, proper follow-up, and incorporate feedback into marketing programs
  • Forecast, track, and report on marketing campaign performance, including funnel conversion metrics
  • Partner with internal and external creative and copywriting resources to design and develop content that drives engagement/action
  • Ensure timely deployment of initiatives and project success by managing stakeholders, calendars, budget, timelines, and processes
  • Work with sales to develop messaging, positioning, and outreach tactics that engage prospects in new ways
  • Develop account-based marketing programs for large-scale accounts in an effort to accelerate enterprise sales cycle

Requirements

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience, MBA a plus
  • 6+ years of highly analytical experience in B2B acquisition, growth, or demand generation marketing
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving revenue, conversion, sales, and other marketing goals
  • Ability to use metrics to manage programs and measure success
  • Proficiency with content creation, email marketing, and lead nurturing
  • Quantitative analytical experience and communication skills
  • Strong communication skills and can turn complex concepts into compelling messaging and campaigns
  • Comfortable communicating with cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience partnering with SDRs and sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and deliver marketing programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, and/or Outreach
  • Prior experience in automotive dealership software or fintech
  • Experience with B2B demand generation at a fast-growing tech company
  • Experience managing a high-performing demand generation team
