Position Summary:

We are on the lookout for a passionate and results-oriented Chief Marketing Officer to spearhead our marketing initiatives and define the strategic vision for our marketing efforts. The CMO will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at driving growth, increasing brand awareness, and solidifying our market position. This position encompasses oversight of demand generation, digital marketing, public relations, advertising, events, and strategic partnerships. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CMO will be crucial in propelling revenue growth through innovative marketing approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership to the marketing team, cultivating a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Work closely with senior management and sales teams to ensure marketing strategies align with overall business objectives, facilitating new business development and market penetration.
  • Design and implement integrated marketing strategies that leverage diverse marketing channels and initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of existing marketing efforts, identifying areas for enhancement and increased return on investment.
  • Streamline lead generation processes to create a scalable and efficient system, ensuring a consistent influx of qualified leads.
  • Oversee the development and upkeep of persuasive product and company positioning materials that resonate with target demographics.
  • Formulate and execute data-driven marketing plans and campaigns, grounded in thorough market research and competitive analysis.
  • Lead the planning and execution of impactful marketing campaigns, establishing and monitoring key performance indicators to assess effectiveness.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources to meet organizational goals.
  • Oversee the entire marketing strategy lifecycle, from initial concept through execution and post-campaign evaluation.
  • Guide and mentor a growing marketing team, promoting professional growth and ensuring streamlined operations.
  • Foster collaboration between marketing and sales teams to maximize revenue potential.
  • Remain agile and responsive to evolving market dynamics, managing multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in Software Product Marketing.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate marketing, including senior leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in managing and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of marketing, including demand generation, digital marketing, public relations, advertising, events, and partnerships.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (preferably HubSpot) and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
  • Exceptional skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, compelling messaging.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • In-depth understanding of IT customer personas and the competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and executing strategic marketing programs that drive business growth.
  • Expertise in contemporary branding principles and digital-first marketing strategies.
  • Highly analytical, innovative, and solution-focused.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
