Job Overview

IMSolutions is seeking Federal Program Managers to engage in a rewarding opportunity supporting government operations.

Location: Washington, DC, with potential for remote/hybrid work arrangements.

As a Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting our client's procurement processes, guiding them from the initial requirement phase through to contract award and subsequent management. Your expertise in Information Technology procurement will be invaluable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project orders, ensuring technical and financial solutions are delivered on schedule.
  • Coordinate and direct all activities related to assigned project orders.
  • Engage with government personnel and client representatives as per task order agreements.
  • Provide effective leadership and technical guidance to all project personnel, ensuring clear communication with senior management.
  • Ensure timely submission of project deliverables in compliance with contractual obligations, interpreting federal acquisition policies and regulations accurately.
  • Manage projects of varying technical complexity and provide training and direction to team members.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities such as signing timecards, conducting performance reviews, and participating in hiring processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 15 years of experience, or a Master's degree with at least 10 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in initiating, planning, executing, and closing large-scale programs, particularly in federal acquisition.
  • Possession of Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP), Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA), or Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) Level III certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related policies, with the ability to assess contract documentation for compliance.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with senior personnel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • U.S. Citizenship or valid work permit with a minimum of three years residency in the U.S.
  • Ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust Clearance, subject to background checks.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $140,000 to $200,000, subject to variation based on education, experience, and location.
