Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Analyst to join our team at MELE Associates, Inc. as a Program Operations Specialist. This is a full-time remote work opportunity that requires a dedicated individual with strong initiative and creativity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement action tracking systems to monitor key tasks, reports, briefings, and other products and actions.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to complete actions, including reports, briefings, correspondence, and review of Government Accountability Office (GAO) and Inspector General (IG) reports.
  • Support the development of stakeholder management to enhance stakeholder integration and planning.
  • Develop and coordinate program briefings and external communications plans, strategies, and products.
  • Prepare and track office organizational and personnel actions, including recruitments, awards, details, and reassignments.
  • Assist in increasing the integration, communication, and transparency of a $2 billion per year program.
  • Conduct research on government policies, orders, and legislation.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and assess, recommend, and implement organizational process improvements.
  • Participate in leadership and staff meetings to facilitate integration, communication, and follow-through.
  • Coordinate major office events, including enterprise-wide meetings for 100+ people.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a major or specialization in a related field.
  • Prior experience supporting organization operations for government programs.
  • Background or experience in organizational analysis/support, program management, or human resources management support.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer service oriented, hardworking, and shows initiative.
  • Outstanding team player able to work with a diverse group of people stationed in different geographic locations.
  • Ability to meet short turnaround deadlines in a fast-paced office environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting congressional or federal government programs.
  • Prior experience working on Capitol Hill, with an executive branch agency, or non-governmental organization (NGO).
  • Master's degree in political science, economics, history, or related field.
  • Familiarity with the NNSA Management and Operations (M&O) model.
