Position Summary:

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 (based on experience)

  • Act as the Lead IT Specialist, providing support for a government client involved in the Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) program across numerous locations nationwide.
  • Collaborate with various government stakeholders to ensure adherence to IT governance, software configurations, and program updates across all sites.
  • Work in conjunction with the Project Manager and corporate shared services team to enhance communication and implement best IT practices.
  • Coordinate with corporate resources to uphold quality standards.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert, offering essential technical knowledge for effective system deployment.
  • Regularly prepare and deliver presentations and briefings as necessary.
  • Assist program leadership with integration, analysis, design, development, documentation, and implementation support.
  • Facilitate training for team members in Database Management, ensuring comprehension of processes and concepts for all deliverables.
  • Support HSPD-12 enrollments and activations of SmartID cards, troubleshooting hardware and software issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT support experience, with a focus on end-user software support, database management, software deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and GSA scheduling tools is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Primarily sedentary work.
  • Occasional stair climbing may be required.
  • Periodic standing or walking for extended periods may be necessary.
  • Involves activities such as reaching, squatting, bending, pulling, grasping, holding, and lifting objects.
  • Frequent typing is required throughout the day.
  • Effective communication through talking and listening is essential.
Education:
  • Associates degree is preferred.
Clearance Requirement:
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary level of clearance.
