Overview

In light of our ongoing expansion, we are in search of a Financial Analyst to become a vital part of our proactive accounting team. This position offers a hybrid/flexible work schedule.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc., has consolidated a portion of the highly skilled workforce from both firms in the Northeast, creating a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to better serve our clients. LiRo-Hill is a firm with 1100 employees, operating in various locations.



Responsibilities
  • Support corporate accounting in managing the reporting and control of the monthly closing process, along with quarterly and annual forecasting and planning.
  • Analyze financial outcomes; monitor variances; identify trends; and recommend actions to management.
  • Develop and oversee information systems for tracking project progress and managing reporting systems.
  • Adhere to established procedures to assess project outcomes concerning schedule, costs, client relationships, quality, activities, and other performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with project managers and business unit leaders to manage objectives, goals, and performance, while also working alongside the estimating department.


Qualifications
  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in fulfilling the key responsibilities outlined.
  • 2-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with the engineering, architecture, or construction sectors is preferred.
  • Ability to exhibit knowledge of project control principles related to budgeting, scheduling, tracking actual/committed costs, change control, forecasting, and financial principles.
  • Advanced skills in developing pivot tables and macros in Microsoft Excel are preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with colleagues, supervisors, managers, clients, and others as necessary for the role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the capacity to manage complex projects with multiple phases.

- We provide a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment.

- Compensation: Minimum: $80,000; Maximum: $100,000. The range provided reflects the salary that the Firm believes, in good faith, it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual candidates' qualifications and location.

- The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
