Job Overview

At the Center for Wealth Preservation, we play a vital role in enhancing the financial stability of individuals, families, businesses, and communities. Our mission is to empower people to feel more secure and well-prepared for their financial futures.

We are in search of a detail-oriented Event Planning Specialist who will collaborate with the management team to facilitate and enhance the organization and execution of various corporate meetings and events. This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and execute all events for the firm, including corporate meetings, client appreciation gatherings, community service events, holiday celebrations, and more.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of events, such as venue selection, vendor coordination, and attendee registration.
  • Prepare necessary materials for events, including agendas and presentations.
  • Design, produce, and distribute event invitations.
  • Communicate with attendees before and after events.
  • Monitor RSVP responses.
  • Attend events to ensure a high-quality experience for all participants, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, communications, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in event coordination or a similar capacity.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, time management abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person events.
