Government Program Coordinator

At Windwalker Group, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional engineering and construction services. We are currently seeking a meticulous and driven Government Project Manager to support our initiatives within the military sector. This role is crucial in ensuring that our armed forces receive superior engineering solutions that meet their operational needs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requests for information, material submissions, and construction inquiries. Ensure that all materials are utilized safely, effectively, and economically.
- Technical Design Assistance: Provide support during technical design evaluations, ensuring alignment with applicable military design policies and regulations. Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to facilitate project success.
- Field Project Management: Conduct site assessments, analyze architectural plans, and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with timelines, specifications, and safety protocols. Document findings and communicate them effectively to relevant personnel.
- In-House Design Development: Create efficient designs for maintenance, repair, and sustainment projects. Generate technical drawings, specifications, and detailed statements of work.
- Proposal and Construction Monitoring: Participate in pre-bid site evaluations, conduct technical assessments, and oversee construction activities. Organize training sessions for operational and maintenance staff on newly renovated systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or related roles within the government sector.
- Familiarity with Federal, State, and Department of Defense engineering standards.
- Strong skills in preparing, reviewing, and assessing technical documentation.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Adherence to OSHA and local safety regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
