Government Project Manager Opportunity - Elevate Engineering Support for Military Operations

We are currently in search of a meticulous and driven Government Project Manager to enhance our support for military operations. This position is crucial in ensuring that our armed forces receive superior engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Oversight: Manage and supervise project documentation, including requests for information, material submissions, and construction directives. Assess and provide solutions to optimize the use of resources effectively and safely.
  • Technical Design Assistance: Support technical design evaluations, ensuring adherence to military design policies and relevant regulations. Collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Field Project Management: Conduct site assessments, analyze architectural plans, and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with timelines, specifications, and safety protocols. Document findings and communicate with relevant personnel.
  • In-House Design Development: Create cost-efficient designs for maintenance and repair projects. Generate technical drawings, specifications, and statements of work.
  • Proposal Management and Construction Oversight: Participate in pre-bid site evaluations, conduct technical assessments, and oversee construction activities. Facilitate training for maintenance of upgraded systems.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or related fields within the public sector.
  • Familiarity with Federal, State, and Department of Defense engineering standards.
  • Strong skills in preparing, reviewing, and assessing technical documentation.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and local safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
