Project Manager Job Description
Welcome to Hayward Tyler, a leading company in the field of engineered products. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Design Value Stream team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with customers to ensure satisfaction and deliver exceptional customer experience.
- Contract Management: Define the scope of supply for contracts and collaborate with the Engineering Manager to ensure successful project execution.
- Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate contract changes and communicate project requirements effectively to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage multiple projects using formal planning techniques to ensure efficient project execution.
- Reporting and Analysis: Produce regular status reports and assess contract performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop post-shipment contract reviews and provide improvement ideas for future contracts to enhance project delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience managing government projects.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project, strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
