Office Manager Role Overview

The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) is in search of an Office Manager to lead the daily administrative functions of its field office. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the reception area, ensuring exceptional service to visitors and clients, and providing support across various organizational programs. This role demands excellent organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to operate independently in a dynamic environment.

Primary Duties:
  • Overseeing the reception area and visitor waiting space
  • Welcoming and guiding visitors and clients
  • Managing incoming phone calls, mail, and electronic communications
  • Offering administrative assistance to team members
  • Procurement of office and cleaning supplies
  • Assisting with human resources responsibilities
  • Supporting the Language Access Program initiatives
  • Providing aid with immigration service processes
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines
  • Dedication to the mission of USCRI
