Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physician Front Office Assistant to join our team at the Central KY Kidney Center in Lexington, KY. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to our medical staff, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling phone calls and correspondence.
- Assist with patient intake and registration, including collecting medical history and insurance information.
- Coordinate with our medical staff to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and test results.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of our front office.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a dialysis or nephrology clinic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, medical staff, and other team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
