Job Summary

We're seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support our growing Southern California stormwater market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for marketing and technical assistance leading to the specification and installation of our MaxWell Drywells. This role will involve building and preserving relationships with key contacts, effectively marketing our stormwater solutions, and providing engineers with technical data and resources as needed.

About the Role
  • Develop relationships and maintain continuous contact with the civil engineering community and other key customers through presentations, project meetings, public meetings, trade shows, and targeted speaking engagements.
  • Support stormwater design teams in the specification of MaxWell Drywells, utilizing internal resources to efficiently provide design support and answer technical questions.
  • Educate design engineers on the key benefits and versatility of MaxWell Drywells to meet project stormwater treatment requirements.
  • Perform detailed analysis of each project to ensure proper specification of solutions and services to efficiently meet project goals and stormwater regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed of changing regulatory environments regarding stormwater, groundwater recharge, and infiltration policies.
  • Seek new opportunities to expand the usage of MaxWell Drywells and Oldcastle Infrastructure's stormwater solutions through market opportunities, cost-efficiency, and customer relationships.
  • Maintain relationships with internal company team members by engaging in meetings, providing training and constructive feedback, and working closely with others to manage customer requests.
  • Effectively maintain a CRM funnel through consistent updates using Salesforce projects, accounts, contacts, and activities.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience working with civil engineers, construction operations, or related fields.
  • Ability to review and understand civil construction specifications/drawings.
  • A basic understanding of stormwater management and regulations.
  • Coachable, enthusiastic, assertive, and technically inclined.
  • Highly motivated to achieve personal and team success.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
