Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour.

Position Overview: The Security Surveillance Officer is responsible for coordinating communication and personnel during various events, including emergencies. You will handle requests for assistance from different departments, guests, or agencies, prioritizing and advising personnel as necessary. Utilizing advanced CCTV and video management systems, you will conduct safety audits across all areas, ensuring optimal asset protection and the safety of guests and team members. You will monitor alarms and safety systems while maintaining detailed logs of all communications. Additionally, you will initiate daily logs, incident reports, audits, and work orders to document observations in compliance with regulations. You will also play a crucial role in emergency operations during large-scale incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and disseminate communications via telephone and radio regarding activities within the Gaming Enterprise and Community Properties, including life safety for law enforcement and emergency services.
  • Monitor and maintain fire panels, crisis alert systems, access control, fire door alarms, and panic alarms.
  • Keep accurate records and logs of radio transmissions, telephone calls, and other relevant information related to security, surveillance, public safety, and law enforcement response.
  • Generate dispatches, daily logs, and incident reports to support the Security & Surveillance Team.
  • Review, save, and attach digital media files (photos and videos) for documentation as required by regulations and procedures.
  • Monitor CCTV coverage of all gaming and non-gaming areas to ensure asset protection and the safety of guests and team members.
  • Perform basic surveillance functions in accordance with established procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Assume responsibilities of the Emergency Communications Center during all emergency situations.
  • Execute emergency notifications to affected team members, public safety, law enforcement, and management as directed.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Combination of post-secondary education/certifications in law enforcement, military, security fields, customer service, or related experience totaling one year.
  • Ability to pass a skills assessment including reading comprehension and basic math.
  • Successful completion of a training program, including passing an Emergency Fire Panel Test within 30 days of hire.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to operate multi-line phone and radio systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Remain calm and effectively communicate details during high-stress incidents.
  • Provide consistent exceptional service to guests, team members, and vendors.
  • Complete regularly assigned training to maintain current skills.
  • Adhere to established health and safety protocols.
  • Disclose any relationships with team members in cash or asset handling departments to the Surveillance Operations Manager.
