Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Culinary Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals and nutritional services to our patients, staff, and visitors. You will assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef or Dietary Director.

What You Will Contribute:
  • Serve as the primary liaison for kitchen staff when the Sous Chef or Department Director is unavailable, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Make daily decisions to uphold meal quality and safety standards in the absence of supervisory staff.
  • Monitor and document food temperatures during service, adhering to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the serving area is promptly cleaned after meals.
  • Oversee the acceptance and organization of deliveries, ensuring timely stock management.
  • Comply with safety protocols when using kitchen equipment and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed.
  • Engage with patients and their families using Trauma Responsive Care principles, fostering a supportive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

What We Require:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant culinary experience is preferred.
