Altec's auction division, JJ Kane Auctions, is seeking a Site Facilities Coordinator. This role is pivotal in overseeing the preparations for our auctions. Responsibilities include managing vehicle logistics, overseeing lot flow, maintaining the facility year-round, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.

JJ Kane specializes in auctioning a variety of pre-owned equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, construction machinery, backhoes, skid steers, mini excavators, tractor crawlers, dozers, fleet vehicles, and more. We invite you to explore our company’s robust history through our websites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track inventory for all lots entering and exiting the facility.
  • Assess inventory and establish estimated selling prices.
  • Collaborate with clients and sales teams during equipment retrieval post-auction.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Operations for streamlined auction processes.
  • Partner with the Safety and Environmental manager to ensure compliance with safety protocols and EPA regulations.
  • Manage offsite holding yards for inventory status, equipment audits, and additional support.
  • Ensure all necessary training and inspections are current.
  • Maintain cost efficiency and manage location expenses.
  • Travel may be required up to 50% until the new location is operational.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in auctions or knowledge of heavy machinery/equipment/automotive sectors is necessary.
  • Familiarity with utility, construction, and aerial device equipment is advantageous.
  • Proficient computer skills (including Word, Excel, etc.) are essential.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate utility equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and independently.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Customer service orientation is essential.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range for this position is $56,000 to $65,000.
