Card Services Specialist

The Card Services Specialist will be tasked with comprehensively understanding our card offerings for clients and managing any fraudulent activities that arise. This role requires maintaining an advanced understanding of all card products available to our clients while identifying opportunities across our entire range of offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcomes customers via phone and chat in a friendly and effective manner.
  • Educates clients on maximizing the potential of their current services while identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services that align with their financial goals.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of all accounts, products, and services available.
  • Assists clients with all account and service inquiries that can be addressed via phone or chat.
  • Manages and supports card products for our clients while enhancing relationships through effective fraud management.
  • Schedules appointments for clients who may need to visit for banking requirements.
  • Communicates with teams and branches regarding appointments or necessary follow-ups with clients.
  • Stays informed about rates for CDs, savings IRAs, and interest-bearing checking accounts.
  • Listens to client needs and recommends optimal solutions to facilitate their success.
  • Provides miscellaneous office support to the team as needed and when time permits.
  • Ensures accuracy and appropriateness of completed work, verifying and validating all data for reliability. Pays close attention to detail in all information received and entered.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Capacity to prioritize and make immediate decisions regarding customer transactions, balancing customer satisfaction with the bank's exposure to loss and fraud.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • In-depth understanding of our bank's products and services.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; college education is preferred.
  • Preferred experience of 2 years in banking.
