Card Account Support Representative

The Card Account Support Representative will play a crucial role in understanding our card offerings and managing any fraudulent activities that may arise. This position requires maintaining an in-depth knowledge of all card products available to our clients while identifying opportunities across our service spectrum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcomes customers via phone and chat with warmth and efficiency.
  • Educates clients on maximizing the benefits of their current services while identifying opportunities for additional products that align with their financial goals.
  • Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of all accounts, products, and services available.
  • Assists customers with all account-related inquiries and service needs through phone or chat.
  • Oversees and supports card products for our clients while enhancing relationships through effective fraud management.
  • Schedules appointments for customers requiring in-person assistance for banking needs.
  • Coordinates with teams and branches regarding appointments or customer follow-up requirements.
  • Stays informed about current rates for CDs, savings IRAs, and interest-bearing checking accounts.
  • Listens attentively to customer needs and recommends optimal solutions to facilitate their success.
  • Provides miscellaneous office support to the team as needed and when time permits.
  • Ensures that all work is completed accurately and appropriately, verifying and validating all data for accuracy and reliability, with a keen attention to detail.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize and make immediate decisions regarding customer transactions, balancing customer satisfaction with the bank's exposure to loss and fraud.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Thorough understanding of our bank's products and services.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; college education is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of banking experience is preferred.
