Logistics Support Analyst

Position Summary:
CHENEGA CORPORATION
The Logistics Support Analyst will deliver comprehensive logistical assistance, supply chain oversight, and analytical support across various programs and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Logistics Program Manager and provide support to assigned government Program Managers by performing process enhancement evaluations and offering actionable recommendations.
2. Act as the primary resource for support functions and special initiatives, aiding government Program Managers in policy-related matters, tracking deliverables, and providing managerial and administrative assistance in daily operations.
3. Maintain and update a tracking system for tasks and projects received, ensuring timely follow-up and completion.
4. Assist government Program Managers with special initiatives, budget assessments, and process improvement evaluations, as well as support personnel in policy documentation.
5. Work closely with the Facilities, Acquisition, and Logistics Division Leadership to identify and address various organizational challenges.
6. Analyze and evaluate information regarding alternative strategies to determine the most effective course of action, collaborating with various personnel to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
7. Focus on areas such as equipment maintenance, property management, fleet operations, and facilities oversight.
8. Support government leads in establishing accountability, enhancing policies, and managing the inventory process, including conducting inventories and preparing annual reports.
Documentation and Reporting:
9. Maintain a variety of inventory records, both manually and electronically, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
10. Prepare, control, and review essential documentation to support audit readiness, financial data, and equipment transactions.
11. Perform clerical and technical tasks that facilitate all logistics functions, ensuring proper storage of related files both physically and electronically.
12. Analyze operational challenges and develop business methods and procedures, including data entry into property and accounting systems.
13. Conduct inspections on vehicles owned by the organization and those leased from General Services Administration (GSA).
14. Execute vehicle driver responsibilities as required.
Communication and Coordination:
15. Prepare and update correspondence, including memorandums, policies, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
16. Oversee project planning and the development of guidance materials for technical procedures.
17. Assist in monitoring and updating a tracking system for correspondence and projects received.
18. Conduct studies to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational and administrative programs.
19. Research and compile documentation or summarized information from files, including organizational charts and mission statements.
20. Serve as a liaison to management regarding the alignment of procedures with strategic goals and objectives.
21. Interpret broad guidance on staffing and routing of memorandums and develop executable processes for the organization.
22. Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for correspondence preparation.
23. Clarify and explain regulatory and policy changes, noting recurring errors during the review process.
24. Provide recommendations for deviations from regulations and revisions of procedures.
Qualifications:
25. Associate Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
26. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in management, information systems, or logistics automated information systems.
27. Possess a Secret Security Clearance.
28. Maintain a valid state driver's license and comply with all relevant policies and laws.
29. Completion of Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Training Certification.
Skills and Abilities:
30. Proficient in computer systems and the Department of the Army Unit Supply System.
31. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
32. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly with senior personnel.
33. Ability to interpret Federal acquisition and property management policies and apply them appropriately.
34. Strong analytical skills to translate program objectives into actionable plans within the framework of Federal regulations.
Physical Requirements:
35. The role may require sitting for extended periods, as well as occasional walking, standing, and lifting of up to 25 pounds.
36. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.

37. This position may involve teleworking arrangements.
