Job Overview:

ACT1 Federal is in search of a Logistics Analyst to support the F-35 Joint Program Office in the planning and execution of Security Cooperation and Foreign Military Sales initiatives.

In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting the F-35 Joint Program Office in achieving its objectives related to the development, testing, production, deployment, and maintenance of advanced 5th generation fighter capabilities for both U.S. military services and allied nations globally.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate F-35 Operational Site Activation
  • Collaborate with F-35 Foreign Military Sales Program Managers and Contract Specialists to ensure accurate budget forecasting and financial oversight for FMS initiatives
  • Develop and refine cost estimates to improve budget management and resource allocation
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and propose enhancements to future cost estimation methodologies to lower expenses associated with F-35 Site Activations
  • Coordinate Logistics
  • Organize meetings between FMS Foreign Liaison Officers and the Fleet Readiness & Sustainment Organization
  • Foster collaboration with the Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation agency to strengthen international partnerships and enhance national security
  • Schedule and manage visits, ensuring effective logistics for Foreign Liaison Officers
  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders
  • Organize meetings between the F-35 Program Executive Officer and Foreign Liaison Officers from their respective nations
  • Enhance collaboration, improve communication, and fortify partnerships with international stakeholders
  • Coordinate Business Operations Team Activities
  • Maintain and update the FMS Business Operations Meeting Groups and Participation Working Groups Calendar.
  • Streamline operations, enhance coordination, and ensure alignment and informed participation among stakeholders.
Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or MA/MS Degree
  • An additional four (4) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. An Associate's Degree plus two (2) additional years of directly related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SAR
Minimum of six (6) years of combined experience in several of the following areas:

  • Military aviation operations or logistics
  • Weapons Systems acquisition, sustainment, and financial management
  • Security Cooperation and Foreign Military Sales Programs
  • Policy analysis and development
  • Knowledge of military aviation life cycle logistics infrastructure and processes
  • Experience in management functions, processes, and analytical methods/techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information
  • Experience in developing, managing, and monitoring program plans
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project)
