Role SummaryAs a Strategic Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing state-of-the-art Digital GxP Services to premier clients within the life sciences domain. We are in search of an experienced sales and business development expert who is passionate about innovation and can align with our unwavering commitment to excellence in emerging technologies.
In this pivotal position, you will adeptly navigate intricate corporate frameworks and engage with key decision-makers across diverse organizational structures. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and capitalize on opportunities in both capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx), successfully closing sales on distinct project opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and sustain a thorough understanding of the life sciences sector, including current trends and future trajectories.
- Exhibit expertise in life sciences software, spanning from the shop floor to the ERP layer, alongside Valspec's service offerings and success narratives.
- Build strategic alliances with essential suppliers and assess collaboration opportunities.
- Remain informed about regulatory developments and industry trends to anticipate shifts in client requirements and adjust Valspec's strategies accordingly.
- Oversee the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to closure, working closely with internal teams to deliver customized solutions.
- Establish robust client relationships, leveraging your expertise to enhance value and stimulate business growth.
- Collaborate with operational teams to create high-quality proposals that align with client expectations.
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, particularly in engaging senior-level managers responsible for enterprise-level systems within manufacturing, laboratory, and IT sectors.
- A proven history of success in sales/business development within the life sciences industry, with a focus on software, equipment, or service solutions.
- Familiarity with resource-based/staff augmentation solutions and capital project offerings is advantageous.
- Strong facilitation skills and the ability to effectively influence decision-making processes.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills tailored to engage sophisticated clientele.
