Position Title: Healthcare Recruiter / Scheduling Coordinator

Job Overview:

Aveanna is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Recruiter. This entry-level management role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families within our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment, hiring, staffing, and scheduling of caregivers to meet patient needs.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams, sales, operations, and executive leadership to ensure effective performance management of field staff.
  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling needs according to branch requirements.
  • Participate in recruiting activities, including identifying, scheduling, and interviewing potential candidates.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patient families regarding staffing schedules.

Work Schedule:

The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with an after-hours on-call schedule that may vary based on branch needs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least six months of previous agency staffing or recruiting experience, or one year of relevant customer service experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and typing skills.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

  • Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to make quick and astute decisions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform various physical activities including sitting, walking, standing, bending, and reaching.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily office-based with occasional field visits. Candidates must be adaptable to various environments and conditions.
