Position Information
Position Overview
The Post-Acute Sales Executive will be tasked with effectively positioning and selling HealthStream's product offerings to both prospective and existing clients within the Post-Acute sector, initially focusing on Skilled Nursing Facilities. This role encompasses new business development (60%), management of existing accounts (30%), and relationship enhancement for assigned clients (10%). The Sales Executive will align Post-Acute solutions with customer objectives to drive HealthStream's annual recurring revenue within their designated accounts, achieving these goals through strategic territory planning with clear, measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities include adhering to all HealthStream security protocols and training.
Achieve New Order Value (NOV) targets Meet annual revenue goals as defined by the sales organization Develop and implement a territory sales strategy to secure new business opportunities Manage retention and growth of existing accounts Conduct prospecting to identify new opportunities within assigned accounts Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships Keep a pipeline of qualified, active opportunities and guide them to closure Coordinate internal and external resources throughout the customer lifecycle Position HealthStream's Post-Acute solutions through strategic value-based selling and ROI analysis Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Post-Acute market trends and competitive dynamics to effectively position HealthStream's offerings Establish a professional brand both internally and externally by demonstrating all sales team competenciesQualifications
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum three years of sales experience with a proven track record in competitive environments, particularly in the Post-Acute market, with an emphasis on Skilled Nursing Facilities At least two years of experience in healthcare technology sales, engaging with C-suite and VP-level contacts Minimum two years of experience in New Business sales, focusing on acquiring new clients At least one year of Account Management experience, with a focus on retaining and expanding existing accounts Ability to thrive in a collaborative selling environment Strong customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written) High integrity and professionalism, setting clear expectations internally and externally Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture Existing relationships with consultants and healthcare executives in the Post-Acute market, particularly Skilled Nursing Facilities, are advantageous Willingness to travel as neededQualifications
Proficient in computer applications – Office Suite Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to address practical problems and navigate various concrete variables in less standardized situations Capability to present and explain complex solutions in a compelling and comprehensible mannerBenefits
