Position Overview
The Post-Acute Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in effectively promoting and selling HealthStream's product offerings to both potential and current clients within the Post-Acute sector, with an initial emphasis on Skilled Nursing Facilities. This position primarily focuses on driving new business development (60%), managing existing accounts (30%), and nurturing relationships with assigned clients (10%). The Sales Executive will align HealthStream's Post-Acute solutions with customer objectives to enhance annual recurring revenue within their designated accounts. Success in this role will be achieved through the execution of strategic territory plans with clearly defined outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
The Post-Acute Sales Executive will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security protocols and training requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Achieving New Order Value (NOV) targets Meeting annual revenue goals (ARR) as established by the sales team Developing and implementing a territory sales strategy to secure new business opportunities Retaining and expanding existing account relationships Engaging in prospecting activities to generate new opportunities within assigned accounts Cultivating and maintaining executive-level relationships Managing a pipeline of qualified opportunities and driving them to closure Coordinating internal and external resources throughout the customer lifecycle Presenting HealthStream's Post-Acute solutions through strategic, value-based selling and ROI analysis Providing accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts Staying informed about Post-Acute market trends and competitive dynamics to effectively position HealthStream's offerings Establishing a professional brand by demonstrating proficiency in all sales competenciesQualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
A bachelor's degree is preferred A minimum of three years of sales experience with a proven track record in competitive environments, particularly within the Post-Acute market, with a focus on Skilled Nursing Facilities being advantageous At least two years of experience in healthcare technology sales, engaging with C-suite and VP-level contacts A minimum of two years of experience in New Business sales, emphasizing the acquisition of new clients At least one year of Account Management experience, focusing on retaining and growing existing accounts The ability to thrive in a collaborative selling environment Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written A high level of integrity and professionalism, effectively managing expectations internally and externally Comfort in working independently within a fast-paced, results-driven culture Existing relationships with consultants and healthcare executives in the Post-Acute market, particularly Skilled Nursing Facilities, is a plus Willingness to travel as neededAdditional Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities Problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations The ability to present and articulate complex solutions in a clear and compelling mannerBenefits
