Position Overview:

As an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) with AMR Corp., you will play a vital role in delivering immediate medical assistance to those in need. Your commitment to providing exceptional care is crucial in our mission to serve the community effectively.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and navigate to the scene using specialized emergency vehicles.
  • Assess the situation to determine the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses and provide appropriate first aid treatment.
  • Administer essential medical procedures, including oxygen therapy, splinting, and resuscitation as necessary.
  • Maintain clear communication with dispatch and other medical personnel to ensure coordinated care.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
  • Assist in the transfer of patients to medical facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on emergency vehicles and medical equipment to ensure readiness for service.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • State Certification as an Advanced EMT.
  • Current BLS/CPR Certification.
  • A valid State Driver's License.
  • Infection Control Certification.
