Advanced Emergency Medical Technician

As an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) with AMR Corp., you will play a vital role in delivering immediate medical assistance to those in need. Your commitment to providing exceptional care is crucial in our mission to serve the community effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and navigate to the scene using specialized emergency vehicles.
- Assess the situation to determine the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses and provide appropriate first aid treatment.
- Administer essential medical procedures, including oxygen therapy, splinting, and resuscitation as necessary.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and other medical personnel to ensure coordinated care.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
- Assist in the transfer of patients to medical facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Conduct routine maintenance on emergency vehicles and medical equipment to ensure readiness for service.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- State Certification as an Advanced EMT.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification.
- A valid State Driver's License.
- Infection Control Certification.
