As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results, which are essential for providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, identify, and prioritize specimens to ensure accurate and timely test processing.

• Perform and report requested laboratory procedures, including quality control and proficiency testing.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, including instruments and inventory control.

• Evaluate positive patient identification to reduce analytical and post-analytical error and/or adverse patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in a Medical Laboratory Technician program - CAHEA accredited.

• 1 year hospital/clinic experience preferred.

• Must have one of the following two certifications as a minimum requirement: ASCP or NCA.

• Basic computer literacy.
