This role involves providing critical Advanced Life Support to patients in emergency situations, ensuring their stabilization and transport to medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt and efficient Advanced Life Support, utilizing advanced techniques such as endotracheal intubation, fluid therapy, and cardiac monitoring.
- Assess medical emergencies and formulate appropriate differential diagnoses.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and recognize life-threatening conditions.
- Administer pharmacological treatments and emergency therapies as necessary.
- Manage and coordinate care with first responders and other emergency personnel.
- Document patient information accurately for hospital and administrative use.
- Maintain effective communication with hospital staff regarding patient conditions and treatment orders.
- Safely operate emergency vehicles under various conditions.
- Perform technical rescues in diverse environments.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of medical equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Valid Paramedic License.
- CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of local geography and emergency medical equipment.
Skills:
- Ability to perform technical medical skills with precision.
- Competence in addressing the emotional and medical needs of patients.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues.
- Capacity to learn and adapt to new medical techniques and protocols.
- Leadership skills to guide and instruct junior personnel.
Working Conditions:
The role requires the ability to operate emergency vehicles, manage medical equipment, and assist injured individuals in various scenarios. This may involve navigating challenging terrains and ensuring patient safety during transport.
