Beverage Service Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY
The individual in this role is tasked with delivering exceptional service to both internal and external patrons. The Beverage Service Assistant also guarantees prompt service to guests while ensuring a high-quality experience and managing levels of intoxication effectively.
- Engage with all guests and staff to positively influence the overall experience. Exhibit resilience when handling challenging situations in various business conditions. Collaborate effectively and courteously with colleagues.
- Support bartenders and/or servers in their responsibilities to enhance the guest experience.
- Responsible for, but not limited to, the following: restocking bar supplies, filling ice bins, replacing bottles on the Berg System, replenishing juice at bars, disposing of waste, mopping floors, and maintaining cleanliness in all areas including bar mats and coolers.
- Change beer kegs as necessary.
- Transport bar supplies from storage to designated bar locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure the responsible service of alcohol by adhering to state laws and company policies.
- Safeguard the well-being of employees and guests.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; shifts may vary based on operational requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
- Must be capable of lifting 50lbs without assistance.
- Must maintain professionalism during peak business periods.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures, including the heat from cooking equipment and the cold of walk-in coolers/freezers.
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be able to work in a gaming environment with exposure to bright/flashing lights, crowds, and elevated noise levels.
Experience/Education:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with current alcohol regulations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming license.
- Must be able to receive and maintain all required certifications.
- Must complete all mandatory company training.
