POSITION SUMMARY

The individual in this role is tasked with delivering exceptional service to both internal and external patrons. Responsible for serving guests in the designated area according to the service standards of that outlet, ensuring an outstanding dining experience for all.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are general examples of the responsibilities associated with this position and are not exhaustive. Additional reasonable tasks may be assigned.

  1. Engage with all guests and staff to enhance the overall experience. Exhibit resilience when dealing with challenging guests in various business conditions. Collaborate effectively and courteously with fellow team members.
  2. Accountable for the thorough and precise setup and breakdown of the work area in a timely manner.
  3. Responsible for accurately taking orders, preparing beverages correctly, and delivering them promptly.
  4. Complete all ancillary duties as directed by the outlet manager or supervisor.
  5. Ensure all orders are entered accurately into the POS system to guarantee a positive experience for guests while safeguarding company assets.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  7. Assist with the following tasks: stocking bar and beverage station items, filling ice bins, disposing of garbage, mopping floors, and ensuring cleanliness in all areas.
  8. Ensure the safety and security of both guests and employees.
  9. Adhere to the proper service of alcohol by complying with state laws and company policies.
  10. Must be available to work a flexible schedule as dictated by business operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may vary based on operational needs.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be capable of carrying and balancing a tray weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
Mental Demands:
  • Ability to build rapport with team members throughout the casino.
  • Must be knowledgeable about cocktails and pricing to ensure accurate ordering and timely beverage service.
Work Environment:
  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must be able to work in a gaming environment with exposure to bright/flashing lights, crowds, and elevated noise levels.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Education:
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in cash handling.
Knowledge:
  • Understanding of alcohol laws.
Other:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming license.
  • Must be able to receive and maintain all required certifications related to the position.
  • Must complete all mandatory company training.
