Beverage Service Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY
The individual in this role is tasked with delivering exceptional service to both internal and external patrons. The Beverage Service Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring timely service to guests while maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction and a positive gaming atmosphere, all while monitoring alcohol consumption levels.
- Engage with all guests and staff to enhance the overall experience. Exhibit resilience when interacting with challenging guests in various business scenarios. Collaborate effectively and courteously with team members.
- Support bartenders and/or servers in their responsibilities to guarantee a pleasant experience for our guests.
- Accountable for, but not limited to, the following tasks: stocking bar supplies, filling ice bins, replacing bottles on the Berg System, replenishing juice at bars, disposing of waste, mopping floors, and maintaining cleanliness in all areas including bar mats and coolers.
- Change beer kegs as necessary.
- Transport bar supplies from storage to designated bar locations.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area.
- Ensure the responsible service of alcohol by adhering to state laws and company policies.
- Promote the safety and security of both employees and guests.
- Must be flexible with scheduling to meet business demands, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may vary based on operational needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
- Must be capable of lifting 50lbs without assistance.
- Must maintain professionalism during high-volume service periods.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures, including the heat from cooking equipment and the cold of walk-in coolers/freezers.
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be able to work in a gaming environment with exposure to bright/flashing lights, crowds, and elevated noise levels.
Experience/Education:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with current alcohol regulations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming license.
- Must complete all required training and certifications.
- Must fulfill all company training requirements.
