POSITION SUMMARY

The individual in this role is tasked with delivering exceptional service to both internal and external patrons. Responsible for serving guests in designated areas according to the service standards of that outlet, ensuring an outstanding experience for all visitors.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are general examples of the responsibilities associated with this position and are not exhaustive. Additional reasonable tasks may be assigned.

  1. Engage with all guests and staff to enhance the overall experience. Display resilience when interacting with challenging guests in various business conditions. Collaborate effectively and courteously with fellow team members.
  2. Accountable for the thorough and precise setup and breakdown of the work area in a timely manner.
  3. Responsible for accurately taking orders, preparing beverages, and delivering them promptly.
  4. Complete all ancillary duties as directed by the outlet manager or supervisor.
  5. Input all orders accurately into the POS system to ensure a positive experience for guests while safeguarding company assets.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  7. Assist with tasks such as stocking bar and beverage stations, filling ice bins, disposing of garbage, mopping floors, and ensuring cleanliness throughout all areas.
  8. Ensure the safety and security of both guests and staff.
  9. Adhere to the proper service of alcoholic beverages by complying with state laws and company policies.
  10. Must be flexible with scheduling to meet business demands, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may vary based on operational needs.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be capable of carrying and balancing a tray weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to push/pull weights up to 100 lbs.
Mental Demands:
  • Ability to build rapport with team members across the casino.
  • Familiarity with cocktails and pricing is essential for accurate ordering and timely beverage service.
Work Environment:
  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must be able to work in a gaming environment with exposure to bright/flashing lights, crowds, and elevated noise levels.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Education:
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in cash handling is required.
Knowledge:
  • Understanding of alcohol laws is necessary.
Other:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming license.
  • Must complete all required training and certifications related to the position.
