POSITION SUMMARY

The individual in this role is tasked with delivering exceptional service to both internal and external patrons. The Beverage Service Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guests are served promptly and that they enjoy a high-quality experience while managing levels of intoxication.

  1. Engage with all guests and staff to positively influence the overall experience. Exhibit resilience when handling challenging guests in various business conditions. Collaborate effectively and courteously with fellow team members.
  2. Support bartenders and/or servers in their responsibilities to guarantee a favorable experience for our guests.
  3. Accountable for, but not limited to, the following: stocking bar supplies, filling ice bins, replacing bottles on the Berg System, replenishing juice at bars, disposing of waste, mopping floors, and maintaining cleanliness in all areas including bar mats and coolers.
  4. Replace beer kegs as necessary.
  5. Transport bar supplies from storage to designated bar locations.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  7. Ensure responsible alcohol service by adhering to state laws and company policies.
  8. Safeguard the well-being of employees and customers.
  9. Must be flexible with scheduling as required by business operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may vary based on operational needs.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical and mental demands, along with the work environment characteristics described here, are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Physical Demands:
  • Must be capable of lifting 50lbs without assistance.
Mental Demands:
  • Must maintain professionalism during peak business periods.
Work Environment:
  • Must be able to work in varying temperatures, including the heat from cooking equipment and the cold of walk-in coolers/freezers.
  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must be able to work in a gaming environment with exposure to bright/flashing lights, crowds, and elevated noise levels.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Education:
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with current alcohol regulations.
Other:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming license.
  • Must complete all required training and certifications.
  • Must fulfill all mandatory company training requirements.
