Gastro Health is actively seeking a Full-Time Patient Services Coordinator to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate staff; take messages and assign tasks as needed for all care centers. Schedule, confirm, and cancel patient appointments as they contact us. Process referrals and update patient demographics from the patient portal. Retrieve voicemail messages daily. Verify patient health plan benefits and secure authorizations when necessary. Assist patients with inquiries and concerns regarding their procedures. Request medical records from healthcare providers. Submit new prescriptions and refills, obtaining necessary authorizations. Acquire lab results, including urgent requests. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent GED A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical administration is preferred
