Position Overview

Tri State Urologic Services is currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant to serve as a Patient Coordinator. This role is primarily administrative, with full-time hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Role Summary: Focused on managing the care of patients with Overactive Bladder (OAB).

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Adhere to the OAB care pathway.
  • Maintain the OAB patient database within Clinical I.
  • Extract data from weekly reports to identify eligible patients.
  • Guide patients from diagnosis through to treatment satisfaction.
  • Coordinate office appointments for patients.
  • Distribute OAB surveys to patients.
  • Facilitate procedure orders on behalf of the physician.
  • Process prescriptions as directed by the physician.
  • Document all patient interactions in the Integra/Database.
  • Act as the primary contact for patients throughout their care journey.
  • Participate in OAB dinners, committee meetings, and procedural discussions.
  • Provide support for other care pathways as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Familiarity with Allscripts and EMR systems is advantageous.
