About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team at Pattons Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating leads, developing sales plans, and traveling to customer sites to demonstrate and explain our compressed air systems, accessories, parts, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on technical information for the sales of compressed air systems, accessories, parts, and service
  • Generate leads and develop detailed sales plans to effectively penetrate accounts and achieve sales goals
  • Travel to current and prospective customer sites within a designated sales territory to demonstrate and explain products and services, conduct needs assessments, and solicit orders
  • Recommend compressed air system products and services to customers based on their needs, interests, costs, and other factors
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and service contracts to potential and existing customers
  • Review detailed design drawings, specifications, or lists related to compressed air system installations
  • Negotiate prices and terms of equipment sales and aftermarket service agreements
  • Record prospecting activity in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Increase organizational visibility within the industrial and manufacturing industries through active networking

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced sales professional with a strong background in the industrial and capital equipment industry. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, and 3+ years of B2B sales experience. Additionally, the candidate should have a valid driver's license, proven ability to generate leads, convert leads to sales opportunities, and achieve sales targets, effective communication and presentation skills, strong interpersonal and networking skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
