Position Overview:


The Educational Coordinator for the Nurse Anesthesia Program plays a pivotal role in supporting the leadership team in the effective management of the educational framework. This position is essential in ensuring that both clinical and theoretical instruction adheres to the rigorous standards set forth by the accrediting bodies.

The Coordinator will assist in the design and implementation of educational experiences that prepare students to become proficient and skilled nurse anesthetists.

This role includes stepping in for the Assistant Director when necessary and managing partnerships and agreements with clinical affiliates.


Promotes a culture of continuous improvement by engaging in practices that foster Lean methodologies, consistently seeking enhancements in work processes.

Acknowledges the importance of personal accountability in motivation, morale, performance, and professional growth, aligning actions with the core values and mission of DirectEmployers.

Utilizes evaluation tools to assist in candidate selection.

Conducts interviews with prospective students.

Assists in exploring potential affiliate sites for program enhancement.

Maintains communication channels between educational institutions and clinical partners.

Evaluates the feasibility of new clinical partnerships.

Serves as a resource for students, clinical instructors, and healthcare facilities.

Consistently represents the program and institution professionally across various communities.

Acts as a role model for students and faculty.

Represents the field of anesthesia within the community.

Engages with hospital departments, community groups, and professional organizations through presentations and communication.

Performs additional responsibilities as required.
