Position Summary: The Mobile Medication Program Supervisor (RN) will manage the comprehensive operations of the Mobile Medication team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Oversight: Directly oversee the daily operations of the department, ensuring effective management and supervision.
  • Clinical Supervision: Conduct weekly face-to-face group supervision, which includes clinical oversight, program design evaluation, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Staff Coordination: Collaborate with direct supervisors monthly to discuss program performance, financial metrics, and personnel needs.
  • Documentation Review: Regularly assess daily progress notes and medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with program standards.
  • Clinical Problem-Solving: Address clinical and performance issues through regular supervision and as needed.
  • Insurance Coordination: Work closely with staff to confirm insurance coverage and ensure clinical documentation meets medical necessity criteria.
  • Nursing Assessments: Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments, developing comprehensive treatment plans that address both physical and behavioral health needs.
  • Medication Management: Ensure proper medication administration in accordance with agency policies, and oversee consumer education on self-administration.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training for staff and consumers regarding health practices and infection control.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all regulatory and accreditation standards are met within the department.

Scheduling and Coordination:

  • Manage staff availability and coverage for absences, ensuring participation in necessary meetings.

Resource Management:

  • Order necessary supplies while adhering to the operating budget.

Human Resources Management:

  • In collaboration with the Regional Director and Human Resources, oversee hiring and performance evaluations of program staff.

Program Development:

  • Participate in quality initiatives and maintain correspondence with relevant agencies to facilitate program improvements.

Working Conditions: The role requires the ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds and engage in community-based activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Licensure: Current Registered Nursing License in Pennsylvania.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in nursing, with at least 1 year in psychiatric nursing for seriously mentally ill adults.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Clearances: Must possess required clearances as per Child Protective Services Law.
