About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and executing account plans, building strong relationships with executive-level decision makers, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement
    • Proactively cultivate relationships with customers and use Microsoft sales strategies to establish alignment and secure buy-in and execution.
    • Connect customers to Microsoft business and technical executives.
    • Establish a rhythm of business with top customer sponsors to regularly highlight the value of Microsoft solutions and subsequent return on investment.
  • Account Management
    • Develop and oversee the execution of account plans utilizing common sales and delivery methodology for the Microsoft sales organization.
    • Lead multiple, diverse, and high-performing teams and coordinate with internal industry experts on account planning and execution.
    • Coordinate with industry experts to identify new business opportunities and drive account growth.
  • Sales Excellence
    • Actively seek customer feedback regarding ways to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction.
    • Help create long-term strategies aimed at maintaining levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Orchestrate others to anticipate issues/risks on customer satisfaction, determine the root cause of problems, remove blockers, and establish recovery action plans.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience closing large, complex agreements/deals.
  • 4+ years of experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with mid-to-senior level executives.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education, Technology) and/or driving digital transformation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 11+ years of experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education, Technology) and/or driving digital transformation.
  • Master's Degree and 9+ years of experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education, Technology) and/or driving digital transformation.

Compensation

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,100 - $185,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
