**Job Summary:**
The Proposal Coordinator role functions as support within the Estimating Department and serves multiple regions from the Stone Mountain, GA office. Proposal Coordinators work to ensure the region is qualified and eligible to submit bids for public and private procurement opportunities. Proposal Coordinators must possess strong and professional written and verbal communication skills as communication is frequently directed to sources outside of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist estimators and business development teams in procuring work for operations teams.
- Review project specifications for eligibility to bid work for government and private contracts.
- Prepare official bid submission documents for government and private contracts.
- Engage with potential subcontractors and log communication to acquire pricing and qualification documents in preparation of bid submission.
- Track firm due dates to ensure timely deliverables.
- Assist with completion of internal qualification documents, including project references, employee resumes, certifications, and licenses.
- Respond to miscellaneous internal requests for assistance with Estimating Department functions.
Requirements:
- Critical thinking with creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once with strong attention to detail.
- Reading for comprehension.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with teams.
- Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
