Structural Truss Engineer - Manufacturing Sector - Competitive Salary up to 60k/year

  • Our client stands as a premier manufacturer of roof and floor trusses, serving contractors and engineers across various regions. Committed to excellence, they focus on the design, production, and distribution of high-quality trusses customized to meet the specific needs of each project.
  • The Structural Truss Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing superior structural components for both commercial and residential construction endeavors. This position involves crafting innovative truss designs utilizing advanced software and collaborating closely with design teams to ensure compliance with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design teams to formulate truss designs for single-family homes, multi-family units, and commercial structures.
  • Create CAD-based truss designs for diverse construction projects using specialized design software.
  • Interpret blueprints accurately to produce detailed roof and floor trusses.
  • Optimize designs for specific applications while adhering to accuracy standards.
  • Request and assess sealed engineering drawings, providing on-site assistance as necessary.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with specialized design software or 3 years with equivalent truss design tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of wood framing, fasteners, and structural components.

Compensation Package:

  • Base salary up to 60k/year
