Key Responsibilities:

  • Willingness to travel to various facilities is essential
  • Applicants must hold a valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related health sciences field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Proven clinical leadership experience across multiple long-term care facilities is necessary, with a focus on implementing best practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Oversee the achievement of departmental goals and objectives in line with established standards.
  • Stay informed on new regulatory requirements and suggest process improvements based on industry standards.
  • Monitor quality improvement initiatives, standards of care, and report on progress to senior management.
  • Address resident complaints, ensuring compliance with rights and working towards resolution.
  • Assist in preparation for compliance surveys and participate in state and federal evaluations.
  • Guide clinical staff in maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
  • Provide training and orientation to facility staff on compliance, risk management, and performance enhancement.
  • Attendance at orientation sessions is required.
  • Experience managing multiple facilities is highly desirable.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

  • Full-time position available
