Key Responsibilities:
- Willingness to travel to various facilities is essential
- Applicants must hold a valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related health sciences field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Proven clinical leadership experience across multiple long-term care facilities is necessary, with a focus on implementing best practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Oversee the achievement of departmental goals and objectives in line with established standards.
- Stay informed on new regulatory requirements and suggest process improvements based on industry standards.
- Monitor quality improvement initiatives, standards of care, and report on progress to senior management.
- Address resident complaints, ensuring compliance with rights and working towards resolution.
- Assist in preparation for compliance surveys and participate in state and federal evaluations.
- Guide clinical staff in maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
- Provide training and orientation to facility staff on compliance, risk management, and performance enhancement.
- Attendance at orientation sessions is required.
- Experience managing multiple facilities is highly desirable.
