Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager at BIGBELLY SOLAR, LLC, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the assigned geography. This is an individual contributor position, requiring a strong sales acumen and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to target new and existing accounts within the assigned geography.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at medium and large municipalities, colleges/universities, and enterprise accounts.
  • Conduct sales calls, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the Bigbelly solution and software.
  • Manage and maintain a high-value pipeline of sales opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to align sales efforts with company goals and objectives.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to the Sr. Director of Sales – East US.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of sales/account management experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a strong understanding of sales principles and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex sales concepts to various stakeholders.
  • MS Office and Salesforce.com experience, with a strong understanding of CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
  • Prior selling experience to municipalities and universities is a plus, as is government sales experience.
  • A true interest in sustainability, environment, efficiency, and IOT/SaaS sales is essential.
