About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team at EBSCO Information Services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our comprehensive research solutions to academic institutions, corporate libraries, and medical libraries in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all product lines and categories, including Full Text Databases on EBSCOhost and Software as a Service Solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve established sales growth and renewal quotas.
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales, Director of ACM Sales, and Account Executive to drive sales performance.
  • Provide formal pricing proposals, literature, and coordinate trials as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations driven by the solution sales process.
  • Travel 70% of the time to meet with customers and prospects, attend conferences, and sales meetings.
  • Achieve an expert level of knowledge of EBSCO products and competition.
  • Provide input for product development and marketing purposes.
  • Develop sales strategy for the region and report weekly progress towards sales quota and goals.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a strong track record of success in the academic field. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of sales experience selling in the academic field.
  • Experience with SaaS and information service sales.
  • Previous travel experience and ability to travel 70%.
  • Proven communication, follow-up, and sales skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $109,200 - $156,000 per year, plus a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings plan, paid parental leave, holidays, and paid time off.
