Patient Care Coordinator

The Steadman Clinic is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for coordinating appointment times, managing patient records, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate appointment times for patients and physician templates
- Manage patient records, including FMLA paperwork, letters of medical necessity, and work notes
- Assist with scheduling clinic appointments and patient referrals
- Generate patient and staff correspondences as directed
- Chart note prep for Physician and PA clinics
- Assist patients with logistical scheduling questions and concerns
- Maintain knowledge of physician preferences and availability
- Work closely with clinical team to provide top patient care
- At least 1 year medical office/clinic experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of 10 key-Microsoft Office products required
- Knowledge of medical insurance coding/billing preferred
- Ability to fluently speak and understand English
- Pleasant, courteous telephone manner required
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills required
The Steadman Clinic offers a competitive hourly rate of $26/hour, with a range starting at $24/hour. This is a part-time role, approximately 20 hours per week, with majority of time working from home and occasional in-office work.
