Senior Financial Analyst

$80,000 - $120,000 | Remote

Codex, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to enhance our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) capabilities. This pivotal role involves the creation and oversight of FP&A systems and reports that are essential for steering strategic initiatives within our multi-billion-dollar enterprise.

In this capacity, you will work in close partnership with organizational leaders, delivering critical insights and detailed analyses to improve business acumen. The ideal candidate is a motivated and technologically adept professional who excels in collaborative environments and enjoys engaging with diverse teams across the organization. This position necessitates the ability to communicate financial results clearly, provide succinct explanations, and address inquiries regarding financial data effectively. Strong leadership and communication skills are vital for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the monthly closing and forecasting activities by aggregating data from multiple departments.
  • Collaborate with FP&A colleagues to spearhead the annual budgeting process, constructing budgets from the ground up for various business segments.
  • Collect, analyze, and manage financial information to generate reports for monthly profit and loss assessments and financial projections.
  • Enhance and maintain FP&A software systems utilized for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide insights during monthly and quarterly business evaluations.
  • Track forecast accuracy, identify the drivers of variances, and offer commentary on prevailing and anticipated trends.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses for senior leadership as required.
  • Utilize your expertise in financial forecasting, analysis, fundamental accounting principles, and operations to support the organization.
  • Establish strong relationships with other departments to promote collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or business-related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a finance or FP&A-focused role.
  • Proficiency in Oracle EPM, OneStream, TM1, Hyperion, or comparable forecasting and planning tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong capabilities in financial analysis and modeling.
