The Lead Financial Analyst will be an engaged professional with established expertise responsible for executing daily general ledger tasks related to the month-end closing procedures.

This role will produce and analyze financial documents, reports, and statements for management, maintain records of assets, liabilities, and profit & loss, perform reconciliations, and contribute to team initiatives that align with the strategic objectives of the organization.


Conduct general responsibilities within the Accounting Department that pertain to the costs associated with business operations, engage in the monthly closing cycle, and serve as an accounting liaison in coordinating and overseeing the finance and accounting aspects of the enterprise resource planning system, adhering to established policies.

Key Responsibilities:


Assess, research, and gather information to ascertain costs of business components/services, including raw material acquisitions, inventory, labor, and overhead.

Propose strategies to enhance the utilization, collection, tracking, and analysis of data.

Evaluate labor and material cost data collected and document findings in spreadsheets or software applications.

Detail actual production costs and generate monthly reports comparing projected costs to actual manufacturing expenses.

Gather and evaluate data regarding a company's operational expenses, establish standard costs for manufactured goods, and develop and assess cost benchmarks.

Deliver management with reports detailing and contrasting factors influencing pricing and profitability of products and services.


Act as an accounting liaison in the design, development, coordination, and functionality of the finance and accounting components of the enterprise resource planning system.


Engage in the month-end closing process by analyzing various business segments and creating the necessary journals to support business activities for the period.

Specifically focusing on Payroll, Intercompany transactions, and cash management.

Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, estimates, and significant changes, and prepare narrative reports elucidating findings.


Analyze financial data detailing assets, liabilities, and equity, and prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize and interpret the current and projected financial position of the company for management.

Monitor monthly financial statements to ensure adherence to US generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP) and company protocols.

Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and any necessary corrective journal entries.

Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly sales and use tax returns.


Process order entries, daily input essential data for sales orders, and verify data accuracy in orders to prepare for the billing process.

Generate purchase orders and distribute copies to suppliers and departments initiating requests. Perform procurement duties as needed.

Qualifications:
Must be a US person (due to export control/trusted supplier regulations)
